Context First
I start by understanding what already exists. Every system is someone's work, built with constraints and reasoning. I begin with an audit of cause and effect, understanding the patterns that created the current reality before looking for where the user experience breaks down.
My Process
Evidence-Based Iteration
My approach to uncertainty is incremental. I gather information from both the business and the users to shape a hypothesis, not a final answer. Real understanding isn't found at the start, it emerges through iteration and testing.
My Goal
Visible Function
I see design as making an object's function visible through its form. Whether that's through typography, the logic of a flow, or the structure of information. Good design makes the machine speak clearly to the human.
